Welcome

Welcome to my digital portfolio! My name is Zach and I am a senior CS student at Oregon State University with a a focus on game programming and simulation! My primary focus is on game engine engineering and I love the challenges that games present to software engineering! On this site you will find samples and examples of projects and work I have done both for school and for fun. Posts are organized by category to make things a little easier to navigate.

Quick about me:

I am (as of 2020) a Senior in Computer Science at OSU, but I have been programming since high school. I am fluent in C/C++, very familiar with C# and PHP, and comfortably familiar with Python, Perl, Javascript, and Java. My focus is on games but I also have experience working on web projects (HTML/PHP/MySQL), Windows Desktop projects (C#), Networked Projects (C/C++, C#), CLI projects(C/C++, C#, Windows and Linux), automation projects (Python, Perl, Ansible), and general utility/tool projects (C/C++, C#, Python, Perl).

The last several years I have spent a lot of time pursuing graphics and game technologies. In school I have taken classes on OpenGL, GLSL Shaders, Vulkan, and general game programming skills. Outside of school I have spent a lot of time learning Unreal Engine and Blender.
